SF6 gas is widely used as an insulating medium and arc extinguishing gas in power equipment, especially in high-voltage circuit breakers, transformers, transformers, capacitors, arresters, fuses, etc. If leakage occurs, the pressure of the equipment is reduced and the insulation capacity is reduced; Pollute and destroy the atmospheric environment, increase the greenhouse effect; Accumulation in low-level spaces, resulting in accidents such as lack of oxygen in the brains of staff and even rapid asphyxiation; Under the influence of partial discharge, high temperature and other factors, SF 6 gas will produce highly toxic decomposition substances such as SF 4, SF 2, SOF2, etc.
KSS524 is a gas sensor module using NDIR infrared absorption detection principle, which determines the concentration according to the absorption of SF6 gas at 10.5um. KSS524 adopts MEMS light source, optical cavity with special structure and dual-channel detector to realize spatial dual-optical path reference compensation, and microprocessor for signal acquisition, processing and output. KSS524 has a UART digital interface to run Modbus ASCII protocol, which is compatible with Smartgas' modules; Provides digital calibration zero and sensitivity functions, and manually implements calibration zero function.
KSS524 can be widely used in SF6 gas leak detection and other occasions SF6 gas concentration analysis in the power industry.
