KUM2500A Ultrasonic Fuel Level Sensor
Introduction
KUM2500A ultrasonic truck fuel sensor integrates GPS positioning, fuel quantity, on-site alarm, and extended peripherals. It can continuously detect the liquid level with a resolution of less than 0.5. It can adjust the length on site to adapt to the height of the fuel tank, and can replace the original vehicle fuel level sensor. Connect to the original fuel gauge. Real-time changes in fuel consumption of vehicles, and generate reports or curves of fuel changes in historical periods, which are displayed on the user's computer. It can intuitively reflect the normal and abnormal consumption of oil output and the insufficient amount of refueling, so as to achieve high-level management of fuel consumption; through the principle of using the magnetic field to control the on-off of the contacts in the reed tube, the measured change is converted into an output. Signal, thus linearly measuring the oil level (water level) height sensor.
Working Principle
KUM2500A ultrasonic level sensor uses the ultrasonic echo ranging principle. The sensor is installed on the outer surface of the bottom of the fuel tank, and sends out ultrasonic signals from the bottom. When it encounters the liquid surface, it reflects back, and then calculates the liquid level height according to the time and speed. At the same time, combined with digital signal processing technology, it overcomes the influence of the container wall, realizes high-precision non-contact measurement of the liquid level in the container, and can meet the requirements of industrial applications in application.
