3.Description
KUS550 low-power ultrasonic level gauge is a real low-power ultrasonic sensor with low operating current, short settling time and good stability. Especially suitable for power supply, the response time is short, the transmission time does not exceed 1ms, and it adapts to the requirement of short wake-up time. It has the characteristics of low voltage, low power consumption, easy installation and use; temperature digital compensation function, wide operating temperature range; high precision, high frequency response, good stability; shock resistance, fatigue resistance, high reliability.

KUS550 low-power ultrasonic liquid level meter sleep state is less than 0.3mA, the wave state is less than 20mA, and the detection state is less than 5mA. That is, when the power supply is 3.3V, the sleep current is 0.3mA, and the power consumption at this time is 0.0003X3.3=0.00099W. This series of low-power ultrasonic level gauges are especially suitable for applications in the smart IoT industry, such as manholes, factory water tanks, tanks, municipal engineering, tap water, sewage treatment, water conservancy and hydropower, steel, coal mines, electricity, petrochemicals, urban inland rivers and lakes, Transportation and food processing industries. How to realize the low power consumption ultrasonic level and distance sensor
a) Use low power ICs
We use almost new ICs by wich the power consumption is normally low.
b) Controll the power of each circuit in the sensor.
There are three parts of the circuit in the sensor, the transmitting circuit, the receiving circuit and the basic circuit of the mcu. The mcu realizes power consumption management by enabling control of the work of each part of the circuit, and then controls the power consumption.
c) When the mcu itself is not working, it enters sleep mode to further reduce power consumption.
5.Installation conditions
If the sensor is installed at the environment temperature fall below 0℃, It should do well on the protective measures. In case of direct mounting of the sensor in a through hole using the steel nuts, it has to be fixed at the middle of the housing thread.
