LCD Display Remote Display And Control 4-20MA Steam Natural Gas Vortex Flow Meter
Introduction
A vortex flowmeter is a volume flowmeter that utilizes the Karman vortex principle to measure the volume flow of gas, steam, or liquid. It can measure volume flow under standard conditions or mass flow. This type of flowmeter is commonly employed for fluid flow measurement in industrial pipelines, including gases, liquids, and steam.
Key characteristics of vortex flowmeters include low pressure loss, a wide measurement range, high precision, and minimal sensitivity to fluid density, pressure, temperature, viscosity, and other parameters during volume flow measurements in operating conditions. Since there are no moving mechanical parts, these flowmeters offer high reliability and require minimal maintenance. The instrument parameters remain stable over extended periods. Vortex flowmeters typically employ piezoelectric stress sensors, providing high reliability and operating within a temperature range of -40°C to 350°C. They offer both analog standard signal and digital pulse signal outputs, making them compatible with computers and other digital systems. Vortex flowmeters are considered advanced and ideal measuring instruments.
The KVF series of vortex flowmeters comes in specifications ranging from DN15 to DN600. They are categorized into full-tube vortex flowmeters and plug-in vortex flowmeters based on structural characteristics. Depending on the output signals, they can be further divided into pulse output mode sensors and transmitters with standard current output. These instruments offer advantages such as a wide flow measurement range, high accuracy, simple structure, minimal pressure loss, and the absence of moving parts, making them suitable for measuring both instantaneous and total fluid flow in closed pipelines.
